Since 2009, the Risk and Analytics division have seen the traditional sectors of Market, Credit and Counterparty Risk Management diversify significantly across the whole banking market. Our reputation for quality of service and in-depth market knowledge has driven our build-out of niche sectors, including dedicated consultants for: Model Validation / Quantitative Risk, Stress Testing and Scenario Analysis, Liquidity & Capital Management, Regulatory Reform, Credit and Counterparty Risk as well as Operational Risk.
Specific successes in Europe include our specialist Risk Governance Consultancy team that have run several retained ‘top-down’ expansions for a range of clients, from Tier One Investment Banks, Private Banks, Vendors, Asset Managers, Service Providers, Technology Firms and Hedge Funds. One project in 2014 began with highly detailed and comprehensive up-front market mapping that translated into working with the Chief Risk Officer & Executive Committee on team design & headcount structuring, before moving forward in the full lifecycle of Talent Acquisition. Similarly, in APAC, our client demand has focused heavily on the Risk Mitigation and Stress / Scenario Testing space for both the international banks as well as the local regional institutions, including two full team build-outs. From our APAC regional headquarters in Singapore, our teams service the local FS market as well as the major hubs of: Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Sydney and the briskly developing markets of SEA, North Asia, India, Central Asia and the Pacific Rim.
Our focus on Executive Search assignments in this broad but aggressively evolving space covers a range of seniority from entry-level MSc/PhD Quant Graduates for smaller boutique firms through to Executive Level covering research analytics managers, client and sales-oriented business mandates as well as senior Risk Committee Policy Managers.
